The terms and conditions presented herein establish the contractual agreement between you and Dagenham Airport Minicabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
Definitions
Dagenham Airport Minicabs, "we," or "us" refer to the service-providing company. The terms "you" and "your" encompass any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is essential to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, especially for airport transfers requiring adherence to specific check-in times for flights. Dagenham Airport Minicabs will not assume responsibility for delays resulting from your failure to allocate adequate travel time or readiness at the scheduled collection time.
2.2 Ordering a car of appropriate size for passengers and luggage is your responsibility. Dagenham Airport Minicabs does not guarantee the transportation of excessive luggage. Note that a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Request wheelchair access during the booking process for those requiring it.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Our quotes are based on the information provided by you. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT, which will be added if applicable. Material changes to the itinerary may lead to adjustments in the provided quote.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any wait exceeding this time will incur charges at the standard Dagenham Airport Minicabs waiting rate. While we strive to accommodate delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon acceptance of our quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. Ensure its accuracy; failure to notify Dagenham Airport Minicabs of discrepancies absolves us of responsibility for resulting delays or costs.
3.4 Payments can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card for our services.
The Service
4.1 Your responsibility extends to the behavior of all passengers during the journey. Charges may apply for vehicle soiling, damage, or negative impact due to a passenger's actions.
4.2 Eating, drinking, and smoking are strictly prohibited in the car.
4.3 Proper restraint for children based on height, weight, and age is mandatory.
4.4 Compliance with licensing or insurance passenger limits is mandatory.
Cancellations
5.1 Promptly inform us of cancellations to avoid charges. Cancellation charges, based on the time and distance covered by the driver to the cancellation point, apply after dispatch.
5.2 For online bookings, cancellations before dispatch may incur charges.
Liability
6.1 While we strive to ensure timely arrivals, Dagenham Airport Minicabs is not liable for losses due to uncontrollable delays. We disclaim liability for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Luggage is transported at your own risk.
6.3 In case of a vehicle breakdown, we aim to provide an alternative promptly.
6.4 You will not indemnify Dagenham Airport Minicabs for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any omission or act by anyone in your party.
6.5 Parties cannot exclude liability for personal injury, death, negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or wilful default, as deemed unenforceable by applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking if any vehicle or driver is endangered by abuse, violence, or damage from you or any passenger. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Dagenham Airport Minicabs may subcontract obligations under this agreement. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 We reserve the right to modify terms and conditions, with changes reflected on this page. Existing bookings will adhere to rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 Information is handled by the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the complete understanding between Dagenham Airport Minicabs and yourself.
8.5 No third party has the right to enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be submitted within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Claims made beyond this timeframe may not be entertained by Dagenham Airport Minicabs.
